The Energy Behind the Charge

Jun 23, 2025

Charging isn't rude, it’s a portal of transformation.

I’ve been doing some deep rewiring around my limiting money beliefs.
One that recently cracked open for me was I noticed my mind was telling me:

“Charging is not nice" or "Cobrar es de mal gusto.”

This came up during my time working with a consultant.
Every time we finished a session, he’d immediately send the invoice and each time, I’d feel a subtle offense… like, wow, how rude.
But that reaction wasn’t about him, it was a mirror.

It made me realize I had attached guilt or shame to receiving money.
To me, being “nice” meant waiting a few days... or weeks...
sometimes even months to send an invoice, as if that delay made me more gracious, less money-hungry, more “good.”

But what it was actually doing was blocking my ability to receive.
And if I can't receive, how can I create more beauty, more expansion?

Here’s the truth I’m landing in now:
Charging what feels true, clean, and immediate honors the energy I give, and the energy the other person gets to activate within themselves.

I’ve also learned that undercharging or worse, charging nothing, isn’t generous.
It creates energetic imbalance.
It actually hurts the transformation on both ends:

- The client isn’t energetically invested, so they don’t commit.
- And I’m left with less space to create from my genius, because I’m carrying more weight than I should.

The shift begins at the transaction.
Because money, when charged with intention and integrity, is simply a portal.

A “yes” to growth. A mutual honoring.

So I’m saying yes to cleaner, clearer exchanges, and I’m inviting you to do the same.
Let’s normalize receiving. Let’s de-taboo the charge. Let’s rise together.

Love,

Emma
